What a wonderful afternoon of fall creativity! Seven young artists joined me at for my Autumn Workshop. We kicked things off with a dot-art pumpkin project inspired by the legendary Yayoi Kusama. The kids learned how one of the world’s most famous artist turns simple polka dots into something bold and mesmerizing — then made it their own, filling their pumpkins with patterns in every color. For our second project, we made craft-stick scarecrows, complete with burlap hat, a flower, and plenty of personality. From painting to gluing to adding the finishing touches, each scarecrow came out one-of-a-kind. Thank you to all the families who shared your creative kids with me. I can’t wait to see you at the next one! 🍂🎃
